The Bell County School District-Bell Whitley Head
Start Blended Preschool Program serves approximately 150 children with at least
one classroom at each elementary school site. The preschool teachers are
employed by the Head Start Program and the preschool paraeducators (teacher
assistants) are hired by the Bell County School District. We are proud of our
program, which has operated in a true spirit of collaboration for about 14
years, because it really does thrive due to the collaboration of these two
agencies: The School District and Bell-Whitley Head Start. If you wish to
