Welcome to the Bell County School System District Literacy Page.  Visitors to this page will find information and resources related to the literacy programs that are currently being implemented in all of the Bell County schools.  The Bell County School System has adopted the literacy goal that 90% percent of all students exiting third grade will be reading on-grade level by 2015.  

To achieve this goal, all of the Bell County schools are implementing a three-tier model of literacy instruction using scientifically research-based programs.  These programs include Success for All, Reading Mastery and Corrective Reading.
